_{contrary   to   what   is   apparently   pretty   popular   belief ,   i   wanna   make    sure   it’s   known   that   d.avina   does   still   have   the   ability   to   make   her   way   back   to   the   land   of   the   living ,   as   long   as   someone   on   that   side   manages   to   repair   the   damage   done   to   the   link   between   planes .}

_{that’s   irrefutable .          but   i   will   never   ever   ever   consider   her   to   have   died   at   the   hands   of   k.ol .          her   fate   was   sealed   by   the   ancestors ,   not   by   anyone   they   manipulated   or   cursed .          her   blood   was   drained   and   her   body   was   consecrated .          a   witch   whose   body   is   consecrated   can   never   truly   die .          not   in   new   orleans ,   not   as   long   as   someone   has   the   ability   to   call   spirits   home .}

_{when   f.reya   broke   the   circle   that   protected   her   from   the   ancestors   after   she   was   resurrected ,   she   immediately   gave   them   leeway   to   use   le   gemme   vitale ,   successfully   marring   her   soul   and   essentially   ‘ shredding ‘   her   spirit   so   that   there   would   be   no   rescuing   her .}

_{what   does   shredding   something   do ?          it   creates   fragments .          there   are   parts   of   her   spirit   still   lingering .          as   k.ol   puts   it ,   ‘ parts   of   d.avina   remain .          fragments   of   her   soul   bound   to   those   she   loved . ‘          this   is   how   it   was   possible   for   v.incent   and   k.ol   to   find   her   in   the   ancestral   plane   when   they   made   the   move   to   split   the   connection   between   worlds .          they   found   her   because   she   loved   them ,   and   they   loved   her ,   too .          there   are   parts   of   her   attached   to   them .} 

_{when   d.avina   says   her   goodbyes   and   breaks   the   link ,   only   the   link   is   severed .          only   the   link   is   destroyed .          not   the   ancestral   plane   itself .          she   didn’t   destroy   the   well ,   she   didn’t   vaporize   spooky   witch   purgatory .          she   just   cut   the   link   between   the   living   and   the   dead   so   that   the   witches   of   new   orleans   can   no   longer   communicate   with   the   spirits   of   the   ancestors ,   and   the   ancestors   can   no   longer   wreak   havoc   amongst   the   living .} 

_{given   that   the   plane   itself   was   not   destroyed   and   her   soul   is   still   connected   to   her   loved   ones ,   the   possibility   of   reviving   d.avina   is   absolutely   not   out   the   window .          her   body   was   consecrated    ;     it’s   still   preserved   and   available .          should   someone   find   a   way   to   reconnect   the   link   between   worlds ,   all   it   would   take   is   someone   her   soul   is   bound   to ,   ranging   anywhere   from   k.ol   to   m.arcel   to   v.incent .          so !}
